Hello folks,
I know that no one really reads my blog, but I still want to keep my blog. It's fun to write up thoughts or stories of life.
Now I'm writing this as a new person - a married woman! Married life is pretty awesome...better than I could imagined that it would be! I'm already looking forward to rest of years ahead!! Tim is really an awesome guy. I have learned how to be patient, more understanding, and slowly a better cook! I am really enjoying being a housewife. I don't mind being a stay at home wife for rest of my life. However, I know that God DO have better plans in mind for me and for us. I am already looking forward to what He has planned for Tim and I.
Also, another major thing that I'm constantly learning from my newly married life...LOVE. Every marriage should be a mirror that reflects the Love that Christ has for His Bride. I should desire to spend every moment with Christ as I desire to spend them with my husband. My crazy love for Tim should be even more crazier for my Jesus. He is still my first love...and love of my life. His love is what makes my life wonderful. His Love is really the essence of my life. Since I proudly announce that I'm Tim's wife, I should do the same for Jesus. I should live my life out as a shout out to the fact that I'm His Beloved and His LOVE is better than Life itself.
It would be a challenge indeed...to live out my life with love...means everything I do, say, and think must be covered with love.
Thriving in His Love,
B

Senior year and other stuff
Hello folks,
Few days ago, I realized that I haven't written on my blog for a while. I actually forgot that I had a blog!
I decided to go back and write a little post...I may end up writing a lot. Who knows, especially because I don't want to do my homework!
It's hard to believe that I'm actually a senior now. It seems like yesterday that I came to Lenoir Rhyne. But at the same time, my high school years feel like prehistory now. I would love to go on memory lane right now but that will require a loooong blog, and I do not want to bore y'all with my ramblings! :)
Not only I'm a senior...I am also an engaged woman. At 2007, I would have never dreamed that I would marry within a month of my college graduation. I thought that I would probably end up an old maid. God had a surprise in store for me, and He did surprise me, indeed! It has been amazing journey coming to know this man of God. I now look forward with excitement to see what God has in store for us both. Knowing God, it will be good in spite of everything that could happen.
Another possible milestone for me will be graduate school. I just applied to UNCG. Now I am anxiously waiting to hear from them which will take a month or so of waiting. But it's all in God's hands. He is the one who determines my next footstep.
I better end now. Hope I will be more diligent with my blog-writing.
God bless everybody...

a poem
Unexpected
He's so unexpected.
He'll cause you to find:
He'll cause you to find:
freedom behind bars
answered prayers amidst ashes
life in graveyard
dancing in a empty parking lot
joy in a cancer ward
met needs in a shack
laughter at a funeral.
He's so unexpected, don't you want to know Him?
He is beyond your wildest dreams
His love fills every nook and cranny of your heart.
He will take every broken glasses and create a masterpiece.
He's unexpected.
He'll throw your world upside down.
Don't you want to know Him?
answered prayers amidst ashes
life in graveyard
dancing in a empty parking lot
joy in a cancer ward
met needs in a shack
laughter at a funeral.
He's so unexpected, don't you want to know Him?
He is beyond your wildest dreams
His love fills every nook and cranny of your heart.
He will take every broken glasses and create a masterpiece.
He's unexpected.
He'll throw your world upside down.
Don't you want to know Him?

2010
Dear 2010,
Now you are here. I wonder what you will bring. 2009 has been interesting year. Passing of two wonderful ladies in my life, Grandmother Hickman and Grandma Kennel, trip to Washington DC, trip to Oregon, NWCCD camp, brother's wedding, Art Therapy internship, and many more.
I have learned and grown in many different ways.
Now I look forward to you, 2010. One thing I know for sure of what you will bring: beginning of my senior year! Unbelievable! I actually did 3 years of college so far and will complete 4 years! Life really do fly by fast. One thing I want to do this year is to enjoy each single day to the maximum! I admit that sometimes I do wish the future will be here faster, but at the same time I need to remind myself that each day is worthwhile as well. I want to enjoy my life, my friends, my family, and my time here on earth.
2010, I hope that this year I will draw nearer to Jesus, know Him deeper, share with Him in His joys and suffering, and grow stronger in His love through faith. I want to learn what it is like to seek First His Kingdom and become Hands and Feet of Jesus on this earth.
2010 - no matter what you bring: joys, tears, laughter, disappoints, wonderful memories, etc - I know that everything will happen according to God's glorious riches.
Until next time,
Tattooed Heart

First Blog
Hello y'all,
I blogged once in middle school. I haven't done it since that time. I was bored tonight and decided to look through my cousins' and friends' blogs. I thought to myself, "Why don't I try to pick it up again and see what happens." I highly doubt that people will follow my blogs, but hey, never know!
Y'all may be wondering why I have "Tattooed Heart's Tale" as my title. It's because Jesus have His Name written on my heart. So it's like a tattoo. Therefore, He owns my heart and all of me. Because Jesus residents in my heart, He gives me a purpose and a tale (story) to tell. It may be simply my life or things that I learn as life flows by.
That's it for tonight. But I'll be around. :)
